This sculpture is part of the Altissimo Collection. A series of marble sculptures that use contemporary everyday fabrics like socks, t-shirts, pillowcases, handkerchiefs to create landscapes in stone that are an homage to the mountains from which the marble was quarried and the timeless traditions of Italian art carved in marble. Altissimo is referred to as Michelangelo's mountain.
